Twelve-year-old Eugene Lebrun in World War I uniform with two chevrons on lower left sleeve. Lebrun is saluting a US Army officer. The US Army Signal Corps stamp is in the lower left corner. A note on the reverse side reads: "Eugene Leburn of Roundup. Mont. 12 yrs old landed in France in Sept. 1917. He is now with the 6th Cav. and is the only American boy mascot in the A.E. F. Tours, Indre et Loire, France. Oct. 28, 1918." |
