William Latner Freeman, Chickamauga, Georgia Attached is a written letter from his parents that reads: "Born September 18, 1894 and enlisted in the army on December 17, 1917. Left Camp Gordon May 9th 1918 and sailed for France May 19th 1918. He was killed in a motorcycle accident on June 24th 1918 at Berteaucourt-les-Dames, France. He was buried in Tours, France." "Mr. Freeman was a Col. 307th Regiment, Field Signal Battalion, 82 Division, A.E.F." |
